The founder of AOC Alpha Omega Counseling and Consulting Services PLLC, LaVita D. R. Jones, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Board Approved Clinical Supervisor, Certified Grief Specialist; has over 30 years of clinical and leadership experience in the field of Mental Health and Substance Use Disorders (MHSUD), Community Based Organizations and project management in Community collaboratives and Behavioral Health/Managed Care Organizations. AOC currently specializes in Grief and Trauma and "Choke On Me" programming provides Professional Empowerment Workplace/Occupational Coaching ; Life and Social Skills coaching.
Our Purpose
Choke On Me is a coaching concept that provides Professional Empowerment Workplace/Occupational Coaching ; and Life and Social Skills coaching via individual, groups and public speaking forums. To empower, equip and motivate Professionals and Ethnic minorities who suffer from racist microaggressions, racial and social injustices in their Professional, Business and Personal interactions; with the skills to present as their dynamic, fierce, and AUTHENTIC selves! Presenting without fear, in Power, Courage and Brilliance while maintaining their Dignity and Brand. Encouraging them to Boldly assert empowered FEARLESS intelligence, without dimming their light and excellence to be palatable.
